Gods Will Fall Story Overview
Gods Will Fall is a top down, stylized mid-poly 3D, isometric, hack and slash rouge-like action adventure game that takes place in a fantasy Celtic setting somewhere around the Iron Age. In this world setting monstrous beings demand tribute and worship from their human subjects with their demands becoming increasingly difficult. Eventually an uprising has occurred where rebels set forth to kill and bring an end to these beings iron and flesh style.
Gods Will Fall Game play
It is here where you direct a random group of eight people toward each dungeon via an over world and where one of those individuals delve into the dungeon’s darkness to bring a “God Being” to dust after killing hordes of minions.
Each character has a particular weapon set, background, stats relationships and specific vendettas against a particular god and that character’s play style will vary accordingly. The death of a character during a run means that another individual from the group parked outside the dungeon continues the mission.
If all eight characters expire then that particular run is over and a fresh randomly generated eight will be dispensed along with a randomization of the positions of the Dungeons on the over world. Success in a dungeon means that the individual survives and stat rewards are party wide as the struggle continues.
Gods Will Fall Atmosphere
The atmosphere is moody with a guttural moody throat chanting soundtrack and events and actions are narrated in what seems to be old Celtic with subtitles provided for the players’ clarity. This game is lore heavy, and it is sprinkled throughout the levels and as more exploration is done more lore is revealed as a reward.
Gods will fall is worth checking out and will provide a little of needed escapism.

Hitman III Story Overview
Hitman III is a third person, 3d, Stealth, action game set in contemporary times that continues the Saga of Agent 47 in the Hitman series he has now defected from his benefactors to an organization called Providence and seek retribution for all the sins committed upon him and others in these organizations machinations for power. Agent 47 is joined by his original handler Diana Burnwood and the infamous Lucas Grey on this quest of justice and retribution.
The organization called Providence is a cabal of Capitalist who hold ultimate power over the world turning and at its helm is a Triumvirate of Marcus Stuyvesant, Carl Ingram and Alexa Carlisle whom are the targets of our chequered “protagonists”. In my amusement all the targets owned companies in their names, just in case you weren’t convinced that this shadow worldwide government was not directed by trillionaire narcissists/psychopaths. So you begin your quest by executing a HALO jump unto to the tallest Building in Dubai in order to rid the world of these particular.
Hitman III Game play
The game play is standard fare for a Hitman series you have targets your inserted into a scenario stealthy, and you have various puzzle options of death to end your targets, which include dress up in the usual Superman/Clarke Kent-esque way where you assume disguises which render you mundane to others around except to those that maybe particularly perceptive.
The usual peeve is that Agent 47 is quite a conspicuous man being a handsome, tall, blue-eyed Caucasian man who is athletically built, bald with a barcode on the back of his skull, especially if your business is to be aware of various enemies and threats, but such is the imagery and branding of the series suspend your disbelief.
Your options of killing range from the clandestine, very cloak and dagger, misdirection and poison with no one being the wiser, or you can decide to murder everything moving with hot lead… the latter of which is often difficult but not impossible. The graphics and physic of the world do help to convey a sense of reality most of the time, however there are instances where one must look at scenarios with much forgiveness, not because of the production values, but because of the simulation of a real world in a virtual setting and the uncanny valley.
Hitman III Atmosphere
This game feels like a typical modern spy-quest film in the vein of James Bond, Mission Impossible or The Bourne Series with cut scene productions setting up the feel of the next playground level, the voice acting and sound production in these cut scenes is decent and helps in setting up the scene.
The game is much fun and who would not want to be instrumental in bringing down an overlord shadow world order that rules from a high castle.

Curse of the Dead Gods Story Overview
Curse of the Dead Gods is a top-down isometric highly stylized mid-poly 3d, Hack and Slash rouge like game that is like a cross between Hades and Torchlight at first glance however it does do its own thing.
It is set in a fantasy world maybe around the period piracy in the “new world”, where your protagonist delves into a procedural Mesoamerica inspired dungeons presumably looking for riches, the story elements are a bit thin, but there is a lot of lore content to be found it, and it leaves the player to surmise the importance of such.
Curse of the Dead Gods Game play
There are many interesting mechanics at play here besides the usual hack and slash fare, it is in these mechanics that this game shines the juxtaposition of illuminating light and enveloping darkness, dodging and combinations of weapons and attacks are the keys to success with arenas filled with enemies and traps.
Each room rewards your based on your choice upon entry and upon death your protagonist simply restarts the dungeon. Victories end that particular dungeon run by defeating a boss, but you keep whatever permanent artefacts and unlocks you’ve gained. Let us be clear your twitch and coordination skills will be put to the test and the enemies are not playing around.
Curse of the Dead Gods Atmosphere
The game is GORGEOUS the art style and sound production sets the mood and tone and makes up for lack of overt story telling, The chanting of the drums the lighting the rich colour scheme all add to the atmosphere the fact that your excursion is in the defiance of forgotten Mesoamerican deities that seek to corrupt you through various means in order to claim your soul also adds to the oppressive air.
A definable game to get if Hack and Slash is up your alley.

Yakuza: Like A Dragon Game play
The meat and potatoes of the game is a turn based action system that makes the tension feel dynamic by constantly moving characters while in the wait stage along with a real time parry system. The action is often over the top and wacky but has a tactics’ element to it as your companions often have specific roles due to their skill sets and synergies. The setting is a very open world with various activities and jobs all in the forms via sub-games which range from the expected fair to quirky and wacky. This game always keeps you on your toes with a smorgasbord of things to do and hi jinx to be had.
Yakuza: Like A Dragon Atmosphere
Quirky is the word to describe this game atmosphere it slips from serious and edgy to silly and goofy in an instant however it is never truly off-putting and seems to fit within the world’s context. What is truly jarring at times is the instances from going to interestingly voice acted scenes to text scripts when doing tasks outside the main story it’s all very frenetic but delightfully so.
Yakuza Like a Dragon is definitely one for your library.

Disco Elysium -The Final Cut Story Overview
Disco Elysium — The Final cut is a top down, isometric, stylized 3D game set in an alternate universe that has seen a decade long war it is hard to give a time period. Technologically it could be placed around World War II as a comparator in our timeline or maybe a bit more modern like in the Disco Era of the 70s. It is obvious that due to a protracted war the social and technological advancement has evolved differently. The game serves as a director’s cut to the original release updating and fixing issues with the original.
Despite the circumstance you are a Detective at least you assume so, you suffer from amnesia and your on a big case at least all things point to that assumption, the whole memory loss is a bug bear.
You’re responding to others as they respond to you, you struggle to remember who you are and what you are about, while simultaneously cracking the big case with your Partner Kim… At least that is what it all seems to be leading up to… he seems to be legit.
Disco Elysium — The Final Cut Game play
There is no real combat it is mostly all a cerebral affair of choices, actions, and consequences not to mention the 24 different personalities/skills that seem to occupy your mind. These personalities/skills have their perks and drawbacks based on your appointed abilities and which one you have placed as dominant.
Clothing and items help you along your quest, text and environmental interactions progress the story line. It is all very exciting if your more into the cerebral journeys because this game hurls concepts, questions, and scenarios at you and lets you live with the consequences.
Disco Elysium — The Final Cut Atmosphere
Intellectual, artistic, and abstract pornography for the thinker. There is no other way to put it, the painted aesthetic, the scenarios, the voice acting all lend itself to set the mood as you try to solve the case, and understand the world. The Characters that inhabit the world are as quirky and strange as you are.
Enter the Disco Elysium and be wildly tripped out.

Evil Genius 2 Story Overview
Evil Genius 2 is a top down, mid-poly, 3D Real Time strategy, Base building game all in a very comic like aesthetic. It is a revamp of the original Evil Genius. In this offering the objective is simple “Rule the World!” you do this by selecting one of several evil geniuses and use your resources to control the world via your island base with the help of your sycophantic minions. All you have to do is maintain your worldwide evil schemes while keeping pesky counter agents out.
Evil Genius 2 Game play
Management of personnel and resources is the name of the game while keeping the rival counter agents away from your machination.
While you don’t directly control any minions you affect their behaviour via general commands and objects all balancing your cheque book. As your schemes draw attention from government counter agencies and other criminals you must distract or dissuade them with extreme prejudice.
Evil Genius 2 Atmosphere
The whole affair is very tongue in cheek and campy meant for a good time and for comic relief all very much in the vein of venture brothers or Austin Powers
This one is a time sapper as you must just finish one more thing.
